It’s the last in my Valentine’s Day gift guides, and today I am going to show you what I would love to receive – perhaps you can conveniently leave this webpage open somewhere where your significant other will see it, or you can be as subtle as a gun and just send them the link!
Valentine’s Day Gifts for Her
1. LUSH Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner (R435 for 225g) – Every girl wants roses for Valentine’s Day. I think that this rose-scented body conditioner is just as good, if not better because it won’t wilt and die. It’s intensely moisturising and nourishing, leaving your skin silky smooth and soft, ready for your Valentine’s Day date.
2. Famke Brass Engraved Bangle (R350) – There is nothing wrong with being gifted with jewellery! I love this brass engraved bangle. The detailed etching makes it so interesting and if you had a few, they would make gorgeous arm candy, stacked one on top of the other.
3. The Body Shop Blueberry Body Scrub & Body Butter Ltd. Edition – These smell incredible, you’ll just have to take my word for it. If you’re on more of a budget this Valentine’s Day, these are a great gift idea to hint about.
4. Charlotte Rhys Candle in Green Leaves (R441 for 200g) – I love the leaves fragrance from Charlotte Rhys. I find it quite unisex and so your man won’t protest to you filling the house with a “girly” scent.
It’s zesty and fresh with top notes of orange, lemon, apple and violet leaves; heart notes of violet and rose and base notes of musk and vanilla. I love this scent for my living areas like the lounge and dining room, it makes me feel like I live in a hotel.
Another candle I love is Cape Islands Wild Coast classic candle (R395)
5. Country Road Billie Messenger Bag – The moment I saw this bag, I knew I needed it! I love everything about it: the colour, the shape and its simplicity. I’m still in the process of convincing Dan that this is what he should buy me as a Valentine’s Day gift… it’s a slow process, men don’t understand women and their bags.
6. Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm (R440) – What’s great about this product is that while you wear it, it treats your lips. It replenishes the moisture loss as well as the comfort of your lips, all the while leaving you with a subtle hint of colour and just the right amount of gloss for perfectly kissable lips. My favourite shade is Rose Nectar.
7. Marc Jacobs Decadence EDP – By just looking at the bottle with its gold chain and black python textured lid you can tell that this is a sophisticated and luxurious fragrance. It has super sexy notes of plum, jasmine and liquid amber. You know what they say, you should spritz perfume everywhere that you want to be kissed…
–Coco Mademoiselle Intense: feminine and fun
–Gabrielle CHANEL, a worthwhile investment
8. Le Creuset Stoneware Large Serving Jug in Chiffon Pink – I don’t know about you, but I love Le Creuset and this item would be the perfect addition to anyone’s collection. To be honest, I’m not sure if I would use this as a jug or as a vase. I think it would look so beautiful with some white roses or tulips in it.
9. Essie Fringe Luxe Effects Collection – This collection is all about metallic’s, glitter and sparkle!
- Fringe Factor: A silver and pink confetti polish that would make such a great colour to wear to glitzy parties.
- Frilling Me Softly: This platinum silver and cobalt glitter colour is my favourite out of the collection. It would look amazing on a statement nail or even as a subtle glitter over another colour.
- Tassel Shaker: With the rose gold craze still going strong, this copper and bronze micro glitter polish is perfect!
- Fashion Flares: This fuchsia glitter polish is the perfect one out of the collection to wear for Valentine’s Day.
10. Lisa Eldridge Face Paint – The Story of Makeup – If you’re a make-up fanatic, I’m pretty sure this coffee table book is on your wishlist already. Lisa Eldridge (one of the world’s best known make-up artists) documents the history behind make-up and how it has impacted women’s lives both in the past and present. Beautiful images and an interesting read make for an absolute win in my opinion!
11. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil – Elizabeth Arden’s original Eight Hour Cream is a cult product and so the launch of the Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil is so exciting. You can literally use it from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
It adds shine to dull hair, softens cuticles, acts as an amazing post-shave treatment, is a great everyday moisturiser and its relaxing scent promotes a sense of well-being and relaxation. This is such a great all-in-one product that should be on everyone’s bathroom shelves.
–Inoar Kalice oil: 5 ways to use it
12. Sunene Multi Scarf – Poetry – You can never have enough beautiful scarves and this vintage inspired one from Poetry grabbed my attention immediately. I love the floral pattern and think it’s the perfect accessory to add that bit of pizazz to your outfit.
