Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense, a new fragrance offering from Chanel

Oh CHANEL, you can do no wrong! Coco Mademoiselle Intense hit shelves on 1 March and if you are a fragrance fundi or were a fan of the original Coco Mademoiselle, you definitely need to add this new offering from CHANEL to your collection.

I have been wearing Coco Mademoiselle Intense for the past few weeks and I am absolutely besotted with it; I love its feminine but fun personality. It has a seductive edge but is still elegant with a hint of mischief. Olivier Polge, CHANEL’s Perfume-Creator really did an excellent job; he paid homage to the original Coco Mademoiselle while still giving the Intense version it’s own spin.

With deep base notes of patchiolli, Tonka bean and Madagascar vanilla absolute, Coco Mademoiselle has a sensual streak that you pick up almost immediately. Soon after that, the wonderful citrus scents of Sicilian orange, Calabrian bergamot and lemon come through and give a punch of fun to the fragrance. Other notes that you may pick up on are jasmine and rose.

It’s quite evident that I love the fragrance, it’s hard not to! But I also absolutely adore the advert for it, featuring none other than Keira Knightly. She has been the Coco Mademoiselle face for the past ten years, and does such an incredible job at it. I think I have probably watched this video close to 15 times, it’s so well put together and there are so many tiny details that you only begin to pick up after the second or third time that you give it a watch.

Coco Mademoiselle Intense is set to become one of CHANEL’s most iconic fragrances and I would highly suggest that you pick one up for yourself. If you’re anything like me, it will be love at first whiff.
