My Urban Decay favourites

Over the last three or so months, a few goodies have been added to my Urban Decay make up stash. I’ve been playing with them, wearing them in different ways and I’m finally getting to writing about my new Urban Decay favourites.

These are the products that I have been reaching for constantly and have really impressed me. Want to know which ones you should add to your cart? Everything you need to know is in this blog post plus links to the online store.

Urban Decay Brow Box

Probably the oldest-newest product in my collection, the Urban Decay Brow Box. I honestly haven’t used anything else on my brows for the past three months.

My Brow Box is in the shade Brown Sugar and it’s such a perfect shade for my blonde, basically transparent brows; not too warm and not too cool toned either.

The fact that there is both a light and dark shade in the palette is great, it helps you get the perfect shade for your complexion and hair colour.

There is also a wax, but to be honest, I haven’t used it as my brows don’t really stray too much.

There is a second compartment to this palette which is where you will find your spooly, brow brush and a pair of tweezers. It’s the perfect size to throw into your handbag and it has two fab mirrors (one magnetised) making doing your brows on the go so much easier.

Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara

I’m a big fan of the Perversion mascara so when Urban Decay Trouble Maker mascara was released, it had big shoes to fill.

Urban Decay describes Troublemaker as “so good it should be illegal” and they’re right. I really enjoy the Troublemaker formula, not dry, not gloopy and a super black pigment; my lashes are left coated from root to tip, thickened, defined and larger than life.

As much as I love the Perversion mascara, I do prefer the Troublemaker wand; it’s not as big as so it’s much easier to get every single lash, especially those sneaky ones in the corner of your eye. If you’re looking for a new mascara, this is definitely one to consider.

Urban Decay All Night Concealer

Concealer has become a non-negotiable for me, regardless of how much make up I’m wearing.

Recently I’ve been wearing the All Night Concealer when I need full coverage, and let me tell you, it does a really good job of hiding those dark under eye circles.

It took me a while to get the hang of the All Nighter concealer, but now that I have, it has become a firm favourite.

If you have quite a dehydrated under eye area, you may not die for this as much as I do. I make sure to prep with a super hydrating eye cream as part of my skincare regime, it makes a world of difference with the application as well as the overall effect.

This concealer also dries down very quickly so you need to make sure to only do one eye at a time to ensure that your blending is absolutely seamless.

Once applied, this Urban Decay concealer is super long wearing, it doesn’t crease (I don’t set it with powder) and gives a full coverage, matte finish. As soon as my current tube is finished, I’ll definitely be ordering another one.

*This product is not in the images because Aria decided it was hers, hid it and I have spent days looking for it. My heart is broken.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer

Next up is the Beached Bronzer, and yes, the product is as fab as the packaging. The fact that this bronzer is buildable makes it a great addition to any make up collection; you can use it for a super natural look, or to really get your glam on.

It is incredibly finely milled and goes on silky smooth. In terms of wear time, it’s pretty darn decent as well; a good 5 odd hours.

I use the shade Bronzed and it’s just perfection on my fair skin – not too orange and not too grey either which is really difficult to find! I dust the Beached bronzer all over my face and décolleté and I think you will do the exact same once you land your hands on it.

All Night Pollution Protection

Last but not least is a twist on a cult classic and a product I honestly cannot live without Urban Decay’s All Nighter Pollution Protection setting spray.

I’ve banged on about the original All Nighter setting spray for forever; my make up does not move until I cleanse at the end of the day, generally that will total between 10-13 hours of wear.

The All Nighter is so good that you can literally swim and it doesn’t move, it is absolutely worth the money spent.

Urban Decay decided to change things up a bit and launched the All Nighter Pollution Protection setting spray a while ago, and while I love the original, I think I prefer this one now simply because it shields against environmental damage.

Is it as powerful as an antioxidant serum? No, I don’t think so. But I’m willing to take any extra help I can get, and if it keeps my make up looking in tip top shape as well, then really, what’s not to love?
