The Urban Decay Born To Run palette has been out for a little over a month now, and the hype still hasn’t died, not even a little. I absolutely love my Naked Heat palette wasn’t sure if anything could top it… but I was wrong. So, so wrong.
The whole purpose of the Born To Run palette is to have everything you need in one place, whether you are an avid traveler or are just looking to downsize your make up collection, this new offering from Urban Decay could be the solution to your problem.

The shade offering in the palette is really great, everything from soft neutrals to burnt oranges, jewel tones to bold pops of colour, everything you need is in this 21 pan gem. But what about the pigmentation I hear you ask; it’s all good and well for shades to look amazing in pan or when swatched, but so often they disappoint when you pop them on your eyes and so as always, I didn’t get my hopes up for the Born To Run palette. But I was wrong, again. The pigmentation is excellent, the shades show up immediately and blend to perfection, even the mattes! I didn’t notice any patchy-ness or bald spots when using the palette and everything blended without any hard work from my part.

Like I mentioned, there are so many beautiful options in the Born To Run palette but my absolute favourites are:
Still Shot: a bright peach that looks beautiful fluffed into the crease
Baja: a burnt orange matte that really adds oomph to an everyday look
Guilt Trip: a smoky purple shimmer that is perfect for a night out. Hit it with some All Nighter setting spray to really amp it up.
Radio: a deep emerald satin that like Guilt Trip is the perfect accessory to your night time make up look.
I’ve really enjoyed playing around with this fab palette and creating some looks, so make sure to keep an eye on my Instagram and Facebook feeds where I will be showing 3 looks over the next few weeks.
In addition to the palette, Urban Decay has also released 3 VICE lipsticks (R250 each) and 3 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils (R230 each). All of these plus The Born To Run palette (R800 each) are available from Urban Decay online, Urban Decay stores as well as Foschini Beauty.
Sounds awesome. Great review. Thanks Sarah. This is definately on my want list now
It really is so fab, I’m sure you will love it Lara!
