Secret Santa Gifts Under R250

The festive season is well and truly here and you know what that means… it’s time for Secret Santa gifts!

I think most of us think of bland and boring gifts when we think of Secret Santa but it really doesn’t need to be that way at all. I’ve curated a gift guide filled with forty-eight goodies that I would definitely love to receive and I’m hoping that it will give you a ton of inspiration for your Secret Santa gifts this year.

I tried my best to source a good amount of locally made products but also wanted to make sure that they were easily available online, so every single product is linked; you can just click and add to cart.

You’ll also see that many of the items are a lot less than R250 so you can group some together for an even better Secret Santa gift but still come in bang on budget.

Let’s get right into it!

Secret Santa Gifts For the homebody

Maybe it’s an age thing but one of my favorite gifts to receive (and give!) are items for the home that I wouldn’t normally buy for myself. A cute mug with some incredible coffee beans (you know Motherland is my personal fave), delicious gins with different infusions, and yummy treats are always a win in my book! If you haven’t tried Mamamacs biscuits before, do yourself a favour and get some for yourself and for your Secret Santa gift.

When I spotted the faux leather single wine cooler I immediately thought of what a brilliant gift it would be for one of the men in your life, I always find them the most tricky to shop for. If your budget is slightly bigger, there is a double one that is just as gorgeous.

Last year I bought Skwe magnets for quite a few of my friends and family, they were such a hit as were the Tags by Elysian the year before; I can definitely vouch for these two local brands!

Secret Santa Gifts For a little self-care

Maybe it’s a very cliche Secret Santa gift but let’s be honest, there are few things better than a little treat yo’self moment with some luxe products.

The Cape Island products are incredible, I love their African Storm fragrance but all of them are special. Wick is a more recent find for me, but the candle that I have from them is lovely and smells incredibly high end.

While we’re on the subject of beautifully fragranced products, the Africology Pillow and Linen spray is a new addition to my bedside table and it is truly wonderful – it just adds something extra to my night time routine.

What would Christmas be without a limited edition LUSH product? These are my top four for the year (I personally went to smell them this past weekend), if you still have some cash to spare, pop a Snow Fairy mini shower gel into your cart too, it has quite a sweet scent but it’s absolutely delicious.
