If you’re anything like me, you always want to know whats new from Dermalogica! I stalk their international social media accounts to see what should be hitting our shores soon and the past few months have not disappointed!
There have been two new releases recently, one specifically for the eye area and one specifically for the lip area.

Stress Positive Eye Lift
Stress Positive Eye Lift (R1210 for 25ml): Hands up, who suffers from puffiness in the eye area? You are going to want to make a beeline for this product, pronto! The Stress Positive Eye Lift has the most magical applicator, it’s probably the best one I have ever used for the eye area. It is curved at the perfect angle to hug your orbital area and massage the super cooling product into your skin. Over and above de-puffing the eye area, the Stress Positive Eye Lift also gives a lifting effect, as the name would suggest, as well as firm and brighten up those dark circles.
I don’t use my product every single day as I am still finishing off other products but I have used it often just before going out to an event or somewhere where I want to look bright eyed and bushy tailed. In all honestly, when I follow the massage movements, I notice a visible lift when I compare one eye to another. Now, this lift is short lived, but I am sure with continuous use, it will be more long term. I definitely do notice that this product de-puffs my eye area, especially after I have had a late night, but again, I follow the massage movements to a T.

Nightly Lip Treatment
Nightly Lip Treatment (R980 for 10ml): Say goodbye to lip lines! We are often so engrossed in making sure that we don’t age prematurely around our eyes, that we completely forget about our lip area. I usually just pat the excess of my eye cream onto my upper lip area but as Dermalogica so rightly puts it, the lips have a completely different make up compared to the rest of our skin. First off, they have not stratum corneum and they have less oil and sweat glands. The only moisuture they do get naturally is from saliva, and that actually dries the lips out.
The Nightly Lip Treatment has been specifically formulated to reduce the appearence of fine lines around the mouth, restore volume in and around the lips and improve hydration and elasticity of the area. I have used this product with it’s massage movements about 4 times now, and although I can’t tell you if I have seen it deliver on it’s promises (I’m going to give it about 6 weeks), I can tell you that it is lovely to use. It has the same applicator as the Stress Positive Eye Lift, and the product itself has a slight minty tingle to it. I’ll try to remember to keep you updated on how the Nightly Lip Tretament performs over the next few weeks.
And those are the two newest launches from Dermalogica! Have you tried out or bought either of these? I am so excited for the August launch, and you will be too when you find out what it is…
