My week in outfits

I’m no fashion guru but I like to think that I can throw an outfit together relatively well and so I decided to show off my week in outfits, plus you all seemed super keen on the idea! Some of the pieces aren’t available in store anymore so I’ve linked similar finds for you, enjoy!

Monday: It’s not always super glam, some days I literally stay in my activewear all day long, they’re so comfortable!

High waisted leggings: Cotton On Body

Crop top: Cotton On Body

Trainers: Fit Flop

Tuesday: I was home most of the day today but I did have to pop out to take Aria to swimming lessons and do a grocery shop. A skirt and sneaker combo is one of my fave outfits to wear – pretty but practical. The particular skirt isn’t available anymore but I’ve liked similar below.

Skirt: Mr Price

Sneakers: Superga

Crop top: Cotton On Body

Necklace: By Cara

Bag: Chic Bali (new stock coming soon!)

Wednesday: Shorts are not my favourite thing to wear, I feel like they ride up but it’s been so hot in JHB and all my skirts were in the laundry, so shorts it was! The navy cami was an amazing find at PEP, and my sneakers from Cotton On, I’ve linked a similar ones below.

Denim paperbag shorts: Cotton On

Navy Cami: Superbalist

Sneakers: Cotton On

Thursday: Morning meetings called for a more dressed up outfit today, but it still needed to be practical for running after Maia all day. This skirt from Pick ‘n Pay Clothing is such a win – easy to dress up or down, it goes with basically everything and is long enough so that when I bend down to pick up Maia/search for lost toys/mom life in general, I can rest assured that my nether regions aren’t on full display. I’ve linked a similar below.

White cami: Pick n Pay Clothing

Skirt: Mr Price

Pumps: Woolworths

Friday: You know how I feel about leaopard print; as far as I am concerned, it’s a neutral. I picked this dress up from Cotton On a few months ago and it’s become one of my staples. On a more casual day like today I leave it loose and flowy, but when it looks gorgeous belted as well and makes it a little more snazzy. For the life of me, I cannot find a similar dress to this in animal print, but I did find the same style in a plain colour.

Dress: Mr Price

Pumps: Woolworths

Saturday: Today’s outfit had to take me from a quick breakfast and then to a kiddie’s birthday party. This is the dress from Mr Price and it’s become a bit of a mission to find in store these days but keep checking online as it often crops up. I have two (the other is in a rust colour) and I am utterly obsessed – comfortable, lightweight and super versatile.

Dress: Mr Price

Sneakers: Superga

  2. Love the outfits Sarah! I also bought the trapeze dress in the floral print (it was the only one I could find in my size) – I’m still on the hunt for the rust one.
