Ok, this blog post is super late as these collections have been out for a little while now but I thought that I would still introduce you to the Essie Fall, Winter and Luxe Effects collections, just in case you haven’t spotted them in store just yet.
First up is the Essie Luxe Effects collection. Inspired by the 1970’s disco balls and skating rinks, this collection is full of glitter and glam and is perfect to get you party ready in no time at all. Fun fact: Glow Your Own Way was inspired by Fleetwood Mac’s Go Your Own Way, which coincidentally is one of my all time favourite songs.
In The Mood Ring: a moody onyx with gold glitters
Glow Your Own Way: brazen bronze with ivory pearl glitters
Disco Doll: silver tinsel and rose glitters
Next up is the Essie Fall collection which was inspired Rebecca Minkhoff’s time spent in Tokyo, Japan. The collection has both trendy colours as well as some gorgeous classics.
Maki Me Happy: a crimson wrapped berry
Playing Koi: flirtatious orange rust
Kimono-over: inviting damson plum
Last but certainly not least is the Essie Winter collection; think vinyl floors, red London phone booths and the swinging 60’s. The London mod era is what inspired this collection and with it’s deep, cozy colours, it’s the perfect addition to your Winter wardrobe.
Ready to Boa: glistening bronzed mahogany
Party on a Platform: London garnet red
Oh Behave: minx peach frost
Getting Groovy: metallic gold palladium
Go with the Flowy: cloudlike dove grey
I am completely obsessed with Playing Koi, which is really suprising because when I first saw it I was not a fan at all! But it is such an unusual but really warm colour, I’ve really been enjoying wearing it when I do. The Luxe collection is great and super long lasting. In fact, I helped Dan carry A THOUSAND bricks this weekend and I didn’t notice so much as a chip, now that’s impressive!
Which shade catches your eye?
I love how Maki me happy looks. A deep red is my favourite during winter.

Such a pretty post! I still need to write up my review on all these products too – eek! Really love Glow Your Own Way, which is unusual for me because I’m not your typical glitter polish gal!
