You know what goes hand in hand with being a parent? Stuff. Lots and lots of stuff.
Gone are the days of just taking your itty bitty hand bag with when you go out. Nope, now you have a whole new bag filled with countless kiddie goodies to take with you as well. Too many things – not nearly enough hands!
Enter Jean Kelly…
When this beauty landed on my doorstep a few weeks ago, I literally squealed with delight, and can you blame me? It is absolutely stunning!
The Jean Kelly Laminated Leather Shopper is made from leather fibres and polyurethane. The fibres are then compressed to form a leather mat and then bonded to a PU base so that it’s strong enough to carry absolutely everything that you need.
I received the tan one and I absolutely love it! It looks stylish, goes with my entire wardrobe and best of all – I no longer need to carry two bags – everything that I need fits into my new Jean Kelly bag!
On this particular day we had gone to church and then popped into the Fourways Farmers Market for breakfast afterwards. In my bag I packed: nappies, wipes, an extra set of clothes, Milton tablets, calpol, dummy holder, bottle, wallet, cellphone, keys, make up bag and of course the beautiful Jean Kelly change mat that comes with the Laminated Leather Shopper. And there was still more room in the bag!
I love all the little details on the bag as well: the silver studs, the quality stitching and the little red heart sewn onto the inside. Another plus is that you can wear the bag in two different ways – with the shorter handles, or with the longer shoulder strap.
But Jean Kelly didn’t stop there, nope, they brought out the super nifty, super clever, pram clips!
Now you don’t have to lug your bag over your shoulder while pushing your pram (we all know how irritating that can be), the D-rings on the bag simply clip into the pram clips and voila!
Saw this bag on a friend today and it is stunning! Have been searching for a bag (baby is 9 weeks already!) and this one looks like it could be perfect! Entered via Twitter x

OH MY GOODNESS!! This bag is absolute perfection!!! I need this EXACT Jean Kelly bag in my life! ASAP!! I have that exact same problem, I take a little bag with my things and then a bag with Emma’s things and then I end up looking like a pack horse by the end of the day because I can’t find anything or else I don’t have extra space for Jackets and other things like my first daughters jersey and water bottle etc that come off during the day! Nightmare! I just love all the little compartments in this JK bag and this would seriously make mothering 2 little children so much more practical!! Talk about finding things so easily! Where has this bag been all my life?!?! And I can guarantee you that this bag will be used for years and years to come…like for weekends away and play/swim dates! Who says Jean Kelly only has to be a baby bag!! Need.Want.Love!!
