Well it only took me 37483928 weeks to get this toddler clothing haul up – eeeeek, sorry! Anyway, as most of you know, I did a little bit of damage at Ackermans a few weeks ago. I’ve already put up a women’s wear haul which you all seemed to love, hopefully you will enjoy the toddler version just as much.
Aria hasn’t really been in the mood for the camera recently, and I never ever force her to take pictures when she doesnt want to. In fact, most of the pictures that I take of her are when she is playing around and are hardly ever posed. Because let’s be honest, trying to get Aria to stand still and smile is like trying to cage a bob cat. Anyway, we are getting off topic here.
I thought that I would come home with a bag full of lovely summer clothes, but all of the winter stock was already out, can you believe it?! I saw this as a sign, and ended up leaving with mostly cosy clothes. There are some really amazing, affordable pieces at Ackermans this year for both girls and boys, I was so impressed, and had a really tough time choosing! I love that I can pick up basic pieces like track pants at a steal, but also find some really pretty garments that look way more expensive than they actually were. Kids grow so fast, and even though I love having some really special, more expensive items in Aria’s wardrobe, the bulk of it really is cheap and cheerful and guess what? She still looks fab and I don’t have a mini breakdown when she comes home from school and her clothes are covered in stains. Right, before I ramble on even more, let’s get into what I bought. And perhaps a sneaky giveaway at the end…
The one summer item that I did pick up was this jumpsuit, how could I resist the unicorns?!
Next up are these track pants, they may not be the most stylish, but they are definitely the most practical! Ackermans stocks them as single items or as a set.
No wardrobe is complete without a pair of jeans. Ackermans has a really great selection of jeans for kiddies, I settled on this pair. I love the pink stitching and the slightly worn look on the knees.
And then these, I can’t even! I love corduroy for kids, but when I saw that they were bell bottoms, I had to get them for Aria.
Right, onto jerseys. I fell in love with this super fluffy white one with a gold star. It’s quite a long jersey, so provided that Aria’s arms don’t grow too wildly, I’m pretty confident that this will fit her for two seasons.
And then last but certainly not least is this amazing button up jersey. It’s completely fleece on the inside, including the hood which is so great because, oh my goodness, it get so cold here in Joburg!
And there you go, those are the goodies that I picked up for Aria for the upcoming winter, and hopefully one or two of the items will last her until the next winter as well.
