Kids really are messy little things aren’t they? This morning I turned my back for two seconds, just to have a gulp of some hot coffee and when I looked again, Aria had somehow managed to spread her breakfast all over her high chair…sigh.
Mimu is a great new brand that helps you keep your little one and everything that goes along with that, fresh and clean. Some of the reasons that Mimu is a great choice for your household are:
- Made from natural ingrediants, so no toxic chemicals.
- SLES, paraben, formaldehyde, alcohol, synthetic dyes and fragrance free. Basically no bad stuff.
- All products are biodegradable, cruelty free and vegan.
- Food safe, meaning that should it be ingested, it is safe.
I was lucky enough to be given some products to test out, which I have been doing for a little while now and I have to say, I am impressed! Make sure to read all the way to the end for an awesome giveaway!
Toy & High Chair Cleaner (R42 for 400ml): We recently started Aria on solids, and let me tell you, it is one messy milestone! I use this non-toxic cleaner to wipe her high chair down after each meal. It’s so easy to use (I just spritz the high chair and wipe it using some kitchen towel) and it’s really tough on dirt, meaning you don’t spend forever cleaning, because who actually has time to waste, right? Of course Aria is also putting everything that she can get her hands onto, into her mouth. At the same time that I give her high chair a wipe down in the evening, I give all of her toys a quick spritz as well, even the material ones. It’s just nice to know that her toys are getting a bit of a clean regularly.
Baby Bathtime Cleaner (R36.99 for 400ml): It never really occurred to me to use a natural cleaner for the bath, which is a bit silly really. We take such care to make sure that all the skincare products that we use on our littlies aren’t harsh and won’t irritate their skin. And then I go and wash the bath with a detergent like Handy Andy…sigh. The Baby Bathtime Cleaner is great and completely chemical free so perfectly safe and gentle on baba’s skin. It works like a bomb in all the areas of the bathroom, trust me, I don’t have the energy to use three different products!
Bottle & Dish Wash (R42 for 400ml): If there’s one thing I really don’t like about bottle feeding, it’s cleaning the bottles. The milk creates a yucky film and let’s not even talk about the odour after a bottle has been left to stand for a few hours… Mimu’s solution is the Bottle & Dish Wash. It effectively removes the fatty film, neautralises the odour as well as milk protein powder from formula. It is perfect to use on bottles, teats, breastpump accessories as well as baby’s cups and plates.
Dummy Sanitizer (R39.90 for 125ml): I’ve always said that Aria’s dummy is like a Harry Potter wand, it performs magic! Seriously, if she’s grumpy, I just pop it in and she falls straight to sleep. But now that she’s learnt to pull it out of her mouth it lands on the floor, a lot. I don’t mind so much if we are at home but if we are out and about, I am always a little bit more hesitant to give her back her dummy straight away. The Mimu Dummy Sanitizer is great because it’s small and compact enough to not take up too much room in your nappy bag but still does a fab job of killing 99% off bacteria, viruses, yeast and mould naturally. Definitely a nappy bag essential in my opinion!
Mimu products are available at quite a few stores as well as online, click here to see their stockists.
