I’m a day late with this post but at least I’m still managing to get it live within the first week of the month, right? February was a hectic month, and although I couldn’t see it at the time, there were a few good things that happened during those very long, very stressful 28 days. But we will get to that later. My March goals aren’t anything ground breaking to be honest, mainly it’s just to make it through the month without crying my eyes out from stress.
The next four weeks are shaping up to be really busy with so many exciting things coming up. Something that I am really looking forward to is our girl’s weekend away, and don’t worry, you’ll hear all about it! A few things I want to concentrate on during March though:
- Organise Aria’s birthday party: I still can’t handle the fact that my kidlet turns TWO at the end of this month! She’s having a dinosaur party this year and I really need to get my bum moving with all of the party planning, I feel like I’ve left it much later than I did last year. I have a general idea and I know pretty much how I want everything to look, but now I just need to action it.
- Upload more YouTube content: Despite all the recent-ish drama surrounding YouTube and monetising your platform, I still really want to upload more content on a regular basis. The aim is to have one video a week that is more vlog-style as opposed to curated and super-edited. I’m really hoping to have something up next week so keep your eye out for that!
- Meal plan properly: I’ve always meal planned in a way, but with our life getting more and more busy, I need to step it up a notch and do things properly! This weekend I want to take some time and go through my recipe books (my two favourites are from Jessica Sepel and Kayla Itsines) and jot down some lunch and dinner ideas for the upcoming weeks. I know that shopping smart and saving money means that I need to shop with a super specific list, so that’s exactly what I need to do!
- Seal the deal: there are a few projects that I have on the go, some have been in the works for 6 MONTHS! I really want to make this the month that I dot the i’s and cross the t’s. I’ve been desperate to share news with you but I just can’t do it until everything has been confirmed and signed. So keep your fingers and toes crossed for me please!
Like I said at the beginning of this post, and if you are subscribed to my newsletter you would have read that February was a crazy stressful month. A lot of the time I just felt like I was wading through a fog and 80% of the time I really couldn’t see the end of it. But here we are in March, and although this is gearing up to be a pretty hectic month as well, I can now look back on Feb and see that there were actually a few great moments. We spent some really great quality time with friends; I know this is something that most people do each month, but when you have a month from hell, those social get togethers are like a bit of a lifeline. You can have a glass of wine, eat some yummy food and just hang out with the people that bring joy to your life. It’s moments like those that really make a bad month, bearable.
What was your February like and what are you looking forward to in March?
Awesome plans for March my friend – you go girl!!
My February was manic – I didn’t even set goals! But getting on to my March goals now, thanks for the inspiration x
