My dear little Paw Paw

You are officially a whole year old and I just cannot believe it! I remember the first time that I saw you with that mop of dark hair, you were and still are absolute perfection. We spent those first few weeks soaking you in and snuggling you as much as possible. Weekend mornings were just the best, all 4 of us in bed, chatting and laughing at all the funny little sounds that you made. These days it’s less lazing in bed and more running after you because you are on the move in a big way! As soon as your eyes open you’re on the go and if Aria isn’t awake yet you sneakily crawl into her room and give a good screech to wake her up.

It’s been wonderful watching you grow over the last 12 months; you have such a strong little personality and certainly make your needs known. Sassy and charming, you get your way 90% of the time and I’m not even a little upset about it, besides, who can resist those big blue eyes and gorgeous curly locks?

Maia you are such a delight, you are everything we never knew that we needed and, like I’ve said before, are the perfect final piece to our puzzle. Even though I’m so sad that you’re no longer a tiny little baby, I can’t wait to see more and more of your personality and what you get up to over the next year.
