LUSH Haul Part Two

Hooray for the second half of the LUSH haul! This isn’t going to be as long as the Lush haul part 1 but the products are just as good and if you read all the way to the end there might just be something exciting…

Before I start with the second lot of products, I wanted to give some more feedback on two of the products from the first bunch since I have been using them for a little while longer now.

The Daddy-O Shampoo is definitely a winner and something that I am going to try my best to always have in my shower. Other than keeping my blonde locks from going brassy, I have found that my hair is in a much better condition after washing it. Normally it’s frizz central, but when I use this shampoo and let my hair air dry, there is a lot less frizz and a lot more wave which is way more manageable.

I’ve been using my Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly non-stop but have found that there are two ways to use it, I’m not sure which way I find easier. The first way is to break a piece off and put it in your loofah floofie thing (really, what are those things called?!), this will foam up as you start to wash yourself. The second option is to actually take the jelly out of the tub and use it as it. A little bit of jelly for my jelly (wow, I can be lame sometimes!). Both work well in my opinion. It is a bit more of a mission to use as opposed to shower gel but well worth it! Also I have to just say, because if I don’t, my brain will explode, “I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly, cos my body’s too bootylicioius for you babe!” Phew, that feels better…

Ok, now onto the new products. First up is the Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic which was gifted to us in our awesome goodie bags we received at the event. I have actually used this this bath ballistic before and let me tell you, it is amazeballs. I love the combined fragrances or rose and jasmine, I find that it really eases any pent up tension that I may be harbouring. It’s also said to have aphrodisiac properties so take from that what you will…

While I was at LUSH, I couldn’t help but pick up another Rose Jam Bubbleroon. Is there anything better than a bubble bath? I didn’t think so, that was until I used this gem. I usually break mine in half so that I can get two baths out of it (I’m all about products going a long way). You simply crumble it under running bath water and it creates a whole pile of heavenly bubbles. I know this is going to sound weird but I find Johannesburg water very harsh. Even if I’ve used a lovely luxurious body wash, five minutes after climbing out of the bath my hands are as dry as a bone. When I use the Rose Jam Bubbleroon it somehow makes the water softer and so I don’t have to slather on the hand cream afterwards.

  1. I’ve never used anything from lush and it’s so depressing! I don’t want to order them online because I like shopping with my nose, will just have to be patient for a shopping trip to Cape Town

    • I’ve shopped with LUSH online and it really was fab – a good starting point would be their top 25, they are all amazing!
