Ackermans Clothing Haul for Women

I am SO excited to finally get part one of my Ackermans clothing haul up! Buying clothing for myself is something that I very rarely do and so picking up a few pieces for myself from Ackermans was a real treat, even though what I bought for myself is a pittance compared to what Aria scored, I’m really chuffed with what I found and think that they are going to work brilliantly with the rest of my wardrobe.

Ackermans clothing has always been a hit for me when buying clothing for Aria, since before she was born. But I’ve never really bought anything for myself there which is surprising because there are so many gems! If you have watched the shopping highlight on my Instagram profile, you will know what I mean, did you see those wedges?! I like to shop with a plan, and so I went in knowing that I definitely wanted a few new dresses and a shirt that I could wear out to meetings but also to a super relaxed dinner. I’m happy to say that I found everything that I wanted and more!

Disclaimer: I am no fashionista and so I may not use all the correct terms, but I’m sure that you’ll understand what I mean.

This denim dress was one of the first items that I saw when I walked into the store. I loooove the frill detail on the sleeve and bust area. Also, the length is absolutely perfect; I’m slightly taller than the average person and so I often struggle to find dresses that aren’t too short for me. This denim beauty sits just above the knee and is so ridiculously comfortable. It can be jazzed up with some fab shoes, or dressed down with a pair of sneakers like I chose to wear on this particular day.

Next up is this red beauty with tiny white flecks. Let me tell you, it has been on high rotation during these past few days in this crazy hot weather. The fabric is super light and the elasticated, cinched in waist suits my body type, plus it hides my food baby, woohoo! Again, the length is perfect for me and at such a bargain price, I couldn’t say no. If you aren’t into red, there were a few different prints for this style of dress.

Flip but I really love this next piece, so much so that I already gave you a sneak peek on my Instagram stories a few days ago. I am mad about the cold shoulder trend, I love that it’s almost like wearing a strappy top, but the tops of my arms are covered (I really don’t like that part of my body). This navy shirt has the most gorgeous print and like the red dress above, the fabric is so lightweight. Just like with dresses, I often struggle to find shirts that don’t cut me off at the wrong spots or are too short for me. I was so happy that this shirt covered my hips, it makes all the difference to me.

Sorry that it’s so creased in these two pictures, I realized at the last minute that I didn’t have a photo of it and so I had to pull it out of the washing basket. #ClassyAF

Last but certainly not least is this gorgeous grey cold shoulder knit. Grey is my absolute favorite color and when I saw that this jersey was cold shoulder, I mean it was basically fate. This is not a thick jersey by any stretch of the imagination but it’s going to be fab in early autumn and on chilly spring evenings. Plus you can dress it down with a pair of jeans and sneakers or dress it up for the office with a statement necklace and black pants.
